ZANGRA SAYS TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION

This beech and vegetable fibre brush cleans your vegetables carefully and effectively.
The brush rids your vegetables of the traces of multiple handling between their picking and consumption, residues (soil, dust, etc.) and some of the germs and bacteria.
The skin of vegetables contains some vitamins, nutrients, fibre and antioxidants, which are important for our body's needs. After brushing, you can eat your veggies with the skin on and benefit from their nutrients.

The brush is divided into two parts: one is harder for potatoes and root vegetables, and the other is softer for vegetables with more delicate skins.

Care
This wooden brush is made of natural materials and is naturally antibacterial. It is very important to let the brush air dry after use.
If needed, soak the coconut fibres in a mixture of water and white vinegar. You can add baking soda if you wish.

What is sisal?

Sisal is an eco-friendly, natural fibre and is extracted from the leaves of a succulent plant belonging to the Agave family. The juice is squeezed from the leaves and the fibres are allowed to dry. These dried fibres are spun into yarn. The sisal fibres should not be treated with chemicals. The sisal plant is mainly found in South America and India. The name comes from the port city from which sisal was exported, located in Mexico. Sisal is often used for making rope, brushes or carpeting. It is biodegradable, extremely strong and very sustainable.
