Circular wall or ceiling light in frosted glass
It couldn't be simpler. This circular lamp by zangra was named Benedicte and comes in different sizes (Ø 19 cm, Ø 28 cm, Ø 40 cm).Benedicte is made in Europe and consists of a frosted glass shade and a metal base. This base is easy to mount on a wall or ceiling, but can also be recessed if necessary, with some skill.
Depending on its size, this lamp contains one or several E27 sockets into which E27 light bulbs (this model) are inserted. If necessary, the light bulbs can be easily replaced by removing the glass shade.
What does E27 mean?
E27 stands for the type of the fitting of a lamp. E27 stands for a 27 mm diameter thread. "E" stands for Edison thread. So you always have to put an E27 light bulb in a fixture with an E27 fitting. E27 is the standard in England and most European countries.The early light bulbs (remember them?) had a similar screw thread.
Be careful though, because there are also countries where E26 bulbs are the norm (for example in the United States).

What does the IP value mean on a light fitting?
All light fittings are classified according to their IP value. These IP values (International Protection or Ingress Protection) indicate the degree of protection of the light fitting against dust and moisture. The IP value consists of two digits: the first digit indicates the level of protection against dust; the second, the level of protection against moisture. What does IP40 mean?
IP40 means that this lamp is:4 : protected against a solid object greater than 1mm.
0 : not protected against water.
Indoor: rated for installation in bathroom zone 3.
Outdoor: not suitable for use (see zone diagrams in the gallery).
