Coloured porcelain retro lamp
This minimalist-style lamp in brown porcelain will bring warmth and comfort to your home. It can be used individually or in a series, thanks to its side entrances, and can serve both as a wall lamp and a ceiling fixture.
In 2014, it became part of zangra's Pure Porcelain range, which includes all its porcelain accessories for the home, such as lighting fixtures and switches. This model is also available in other colours and requires an E27 bulb.
Brown in your home?
The brown colour will subtly add a warm and cozy touch to your home. It is a perfect alternative to black and not an old-fashioned or boring colour. Brown gives depth and character to your interior. This colour goes perfectly with white. And if you combine it with bronze or gold, you will create a luxurious interior.
The story behind zangra's porcelain
Soon after being established in 2009, zangra started to successfully cooperate with different porcelain factories all over the world – a cooperation that continues to this day. In recent years, zangra has spent a lot of time in world’s most famous porcelain cities. From Limoges in France to Jingdezhen in China, zangra was able to work at legendary porcelain factories. So in cooperation with the staff zangra created new models and rediscovered old forgotten molds. A number of old molds were put back in production making new pieces. zangra’s porcelain is still produced by hand, piece by piece. This makes each piece unique. zangra's work proved successful with their products being sold all over the world.
How to open and unlock a bulb holder?
Our lamp holders have a safety feature, which means that once put together, they cannot be unscrewed any more. This is to ensure you don’t undo the lamp holder when changing the bulb and give yourself a nasty electric shock! To attach a power cord to the lamp holder, you need to unscrew the base first. To do this, you have to push down the retention pin inside the lamp holder (e.g. with a screwdriver) and unscrew the upper ring.
What does E27 mean?
E27 stands for the type of the fitting of a lamp. E27 stands for a 27 mm diameter thread. "E" stands for Edison thread. So you always have to put an E27 light bulb in a fixture with an E27 fitting. E27 is the standard in England and most European countries.
The early light bulbs (remember them?) had a similar screw thread.
Be careful though, because there are also countries where E26 bulbs are the norm (for example in the United States).
If you would like to know which standard applies in your country, check out this page.

Is the light bulb included?
The light bulb is not included when you buy this light. You will find here the whole selection of LED, incandescent, stick and halogen light bulbs. Take into account that each light needs a specific type of light bulb. You will find the kind of light bulb that it requires under the "Technical Description" tab.
Are the screws included?
No screws are supplied, as the type of screw depends on the material of the wall or ceiling (concrete, brick, plasterboard, wood).
You need a different type of screws depending on each material.
Do not use an electrical screwdriver
Do not use electrical screwdrivers when installing ceramic or porcelain items. We recommend to first drill a hole in the wall, fit the right plugs inside and use a manual screwdriver to fix the screws in place. Be especially careful during the final tightening of the screws.
