Zangra's surface-mounted spotlight for bathroom or garden
This ceiling light by Belgian brand zangra has been named Capucine. Choose simplicity with these spotlights available in black and white.
These lamps have an IP54 protection rating and are therefore suitable for use in the home, but also in moist areas such as a bathroom or even outdoors.
The light fixture has a G9 fitting and must be equipped with a G9 bulb.
What does the IP value mean on a light fitting?
All light fittings are classified according to their IP value. These IP values (International Protection or Ingress Protection) indicate the degree of protection of the light fitting against dust and moisture. The IP value consists of two digits: the first digit indicates the level of protection against dust; the second, the level of protection against moisture. The higher the IP value, the higher the protection. Check this diagram to see the different existing IP values.
What does IP54 mean?
IP54 means that this lamp is protected against:5 : dust.
4 : water splashes from all directions.
Indoor: rated for installation in bathroom zones 2 and 3.
Outdoor: suitable for outdoor use if correctly installed in zone 3 and 4 (see zone diagrams in the gallery).

What is a G9 light bulb?
A G9 light bulb looks like a small capsule and has two pins spaced 9 mm apart (hence the 9 in its name). This base is also called mini Bi-Pin. G9 light bulbs are very small and can therefore be used in small light fixtures. G9 bulbs simply operate on 230V; you can therefore connect them directly to the electrical network. A light bulb with a G9 base must be placed on a light fixture with a G9 fitting. This type of light bulb is simply inserted by pushing the two pins into the socket and is therefore very easy to install.Here you will find examples of halogen G9 42 W, halogen G9 28 W and LED G9 light bulbs.
