What does the Oeko-Tex standard 100 label mean?

Oeko-Tex 100 is an international label for textiles that was created in 1992.
When a product carries the OEKO-TEX® label, it means that it is completely free of harmful chemicals and is safe for people. It takes into account all factors such as the dye used, the fibres used to weave the fabric, the lining used, etc.

What does GOTS mean?

The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is an internationally recognized standard for organic textiles. The standard covers the processing, production, packaging, labelling, trade and distribution of all types of textiles made from at least 70% certified organic natural fibres. If no percentage is indicated on the label, the product contains more than 95% organic textile fibres. If the percentage is between 70 and 95%, it must be indicated on the label.
The final product can be a yarn, fabric, garment or home textile or other textiles.

What does BSCI means?

Founded in 2002, the BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative) aims to improve working conditions, such as the right to form a trade union, safe working conditions and freedom from forced and child labour. Initially, only companies in the textile industry could participate in the BSCI, but this possibility was later extended.
The BSCI offers companies a code of conduct based on international conventions that protect workers' rights.
