A ceiling light with a retro yet contemporary design
The Schoolhouse design of this ceiling lamp is inspired by the lamps traditionally used in English universities in the 1920s. With their clean lines, they were very popular with institutions looking for soft, uniform ambient lighting.
Today, these lamps, to which the blown glass globe adds the ultimate touch of refinement, are acclaimed for their timeless design, adding a retro touch to any interior.
For more uniform lighting, we recommend lining up several ceiling lights. This will highlight the other elements in the room.
This model is available in raw brass or black/brass.
This light fixture must be fitted with an E27 bulb.

Choose the glass globe that fits our lamps
Our glass globes and shades are the perfect match for zangra's porcelain, bakelite and brass lamp collections. The globes are fitted with a screw thread or a neck, ensuring a secure attachment to their base. They are available as spare parts, allowing you to extend the life of your lamp if a globe needs replacement.
Due to the manufacturing process, glass globes may exhibit parting lines.

Glass: a sustainable and recyclable material

One of the most commendable features of glass is its ability to be recycled almost indefinitely. Unlike other materials that lose their properties during recycling, glass can be melted and remoulded several times without altering its quality. This reduces demand for natural resources, saves energy and minimises waste.

Is the light bulb included?

The light bulb is not included when you buy this light. You will find here the whole selection of LED, incandescent, stick and halogen light bulbs. Take into account that each light needs a specific type of light bulb. You will find the kind of light bulb that it requires under the "Technical Description" tab.

What does E27 mean?

E27 stands for the type of the fitting of a lamp. E27 stands for a 27 mm diameter thread. "E" stands for Edison thread. So you always have to put an E27 light bulb in a fixture with an E27 fitting. E27 is the standard in England and most European countries.
The early light bulbs (remember them?) had a similar screw thread.
Be careful though, because there are also countries where E26 bulbs are the norm (for example in the United States).

Are the screws included?
This lamp is fixed to the ceiling/wall with a metal bracket. The screws that serve to attach the bracket to the lamp are included. The screws used to attach the bracket to the ceiling/wall are not included because the type of screw depends on the material of the wall or ceiling (concrete, brick, plasterboard, wood).
