Paintable plaster light fixture

This lamp is made of plaster and can be painted to blend seamlessly into your interior or, alternatively, add a bold touch to a room. Personalise it according to your taste by following these simple steps for a flawless result.

Step 1: Lightly sand the lamp using 180-grit sandpaper to smooth the surface. Wipe the lamp carefully with a dry microfibre cloth to remove any dust.
Tip: We recommend painting the lamp before mounting it on the wall.

Step 2: Apply masking tape to the inner parts of the lamp to protect areas you don’t want to paint.

Step 3: Use a roller to apply the paint in two coats. Once the paint is completely dry, you may need to lightly sand the surface again to achieve a smooth finish and an even colour.

What does the IP value mean on a light fitting?

All light fittings are classified according to their IP value. These IP values (International Protection or Ingress Protection) indicate the degree of protection of the light fitting against dust and moisture. The IP value consists of two digits: the first digit indicates the level of protection against dust; the second, the level of protection against moisture. The higher the IP value, the higher the protection. Check this diagram to see the different existing IP values.

What does the IP20 value mean on this light fitting?

IP20 means that the light fitting:
2: is protected against the intrusion of solid particles with a dimension greater than 12.5 millimetres.
0: has no protection against water penetration. This light fitting can be installed indoors, but not in wet areas.
It is not recommended to install this light fitting outdoors. A device with an IP20 value is not protected against dust or moisture. A light fitting marked IP20 may have holes to prevent overheating. However, the lamp is protected against contact with objects larger than 12.5 mm, such as a hand or finger.
This model is suitable for indoor use, but not outdoors.

What does E14 mean?

E14 stands for the type of the fitting of a lamp. E14 stands for a 14 mm diameter thread. "E" stands for Edison thread. So you always have to put an E14 light bulb in a fixture with an E14 fitting. An E14 light bulb can come in many forms, the most well known being the candle-shaped bulb on chandeliers. The E14 bulb is the little sister of the E27 bulb.
Check out here the complete collection of E14 light bulbs by zangra.

Is the light bulb included?

The light bulb is not included when you buy this light. You will find here the whole selection of LED, incandescent, stick and halogen light bulbs. Take into account that each light needs a specific type of light bulb. You will find the kind of light bulb that it requires under the "Technical Description" tab.

Do not use an electrical screwdriver

Do not use electrical screwdrivers when installing ceramic or porcelain items. We recommend to first drill a hole in the wall, fit the right plugs inside and use a manual screwdriver to fix the screws in place. Be especially careful during the final tightening of the screws.
