Gold-plated porcelain lamp
This Limoges porcelain lamp is entirely handcrafted in France and covered with a fine layer of 18-carat gold. It can be used as a wall light or ceiling light. It is one of the first lamps designed by zangra. This lamp is part of the minimalist and timeless Pure Porcelain collection, which includes lamps, switches, and accessories for the home and bathroom.
This model is also available in white porcelain and black porcelain.
This lamp requires an E27 bulb.
Please note that the gold layer may exhibit some irregularities inherent to the manufacturing process.

Gold in your home?

The colour gold is a stylish colour that immediately gives your interior a feeling of richness. Gold, just like silver, basically works with any other colour. Combined with black, the room suddenly becomes very chic, while the combination of gold with white provides a more modern look. If you combine gold with pink, you get a Scandinavian atmosphere. Your imagination is the limit!

The story behind zangra's porcelain

Soon after being established in 2009, zangra started to successfully cooperate with different porcelain factories all over the world – a cooperation that continues to this day. In recent years, zangra has spent a lot of time in world’s most famous porcelain cities. From Limoges in France to Jingdezhen in China, zangra was able to work at legendary porcelain factories. So in cooperation with the staff zangra created new models and rediscovered old forgotten molds. A number of old molds were put back in production making new pieces. zangra’s porcelain is still produced by hand, piece by piece. This makes each piece unique. zangra's work proved successful with their products being sold all over the world.

What does E27 mean?

E27 stands for the type of the fitting of a lamp. E27 stands for a 27 mm diameter thread. "E" stands for Edison thread. So you always have to put an E27 light bulb in a fixture with an E27 fitting. E27 is the standard in England and most European countries.
The early light bulbs (remember them?) had a similar screw thread.
Be careful though, because there are also countries where E26 bulbs are the norm (for example in the United States).
If you would like to know which standard applies in your country, check out this page.
Check out here the complete collection of E27 light bulbs by zangra.

Is the light bulb included?

The light bulb is not included when you buy this light. You will find here the whole selection of LED, incandescent, stick and halogen light bulbs. Take into account that each light needs a specific type of light bulb. You will find the kind of light bulb that it requires under the "Technical Description" tab.

Are the screws included?
No screws are supplied, as the type of screw depends on the material of the wall or ceiling (concrete, brick, plasterboard, wood).
You need a different type of screws depending on each material.

Do not use an electrical screwdriver
Do not use electrical screwdrivers when installing ceramic or porcelain items. We recommend to first drill a hole in the wall, fit the right plugs inside and use a manual screwdriver to fix the screws in place. Be especially careful during the final tightening of the screws.
