ZANGRA SAYS TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION

This plug can be used with our twisted textile cable (OPTION1). The regular textile cable, with round section, is too thick for this plug.

What is a type C plug ?

Type C plugs are used in almost every European countries, except in Great Britain, Ireland, Cyprus and Malta. Type C plugs are also used in several non-European countries. The pins of the type C plug are 19 millimetres long and 18.6 millimetres apart and are slightly flexible. Therefore, type C plugs fit into any socket with two round holes at least 4 mm in diameter, with centres 17.5 to 19 mm apart. The C plug is the most widely used plug in the world.
This flat plug has no earth connection and is also known as the Euro or CEE 7/16 plug.
Read here what kind of plugs and outlets are used in your country.

Which power cord to use for a type C plug?

This unearthed plug with two pins is suitable for connecting a two-pole cable. In principle, a three-pole cable can also be used, but the appliance will not be earthed.
See the collection of two- and three-pole power cords here.
