Denim is a pendant light that adapts to your tastes. The base remains the same: a porcelain lamp holder, a porcelain ceiling rose and a 150 cm fabric cable. The lamp’s character, however, depends on the glass lampshade you choose.
From opal glass to clear or coloured glass, and from sleek geometric shapes to more decorative designs, Denim is available with over thirty different glass shades. This makes it easy to create a lamp that fits just as well in a modern interior as it does in a traditional home or a commercial fit-out project.
The fabric cable can easily be cut to the desired length, meaning Denim is equally at home above a dining table, in a hallway, a bedroom or a kitchen.

Soon after being established in 2009, zangra started to successfully cooperate with different porcelain factories all over the world – a cooperation that continues to this day. In recent years, zangra has spent a lot of time in world’s most famous porcelain cities. From Limoges in France to Jingdezhen in China, zangra was able to work at legendary porcelain factories. So in cooperation with the staff zangra created new models and rediscovered old forgotten molds. A number of old molds were put back in production making new pieces. zangra’s porcelain is still produced by hand, piece by piece. This makes each piece unique. zangra's work proved successful with their products being sold all over the world.

Our glass globes and shades are the perfect match for zangra's porcelain, bakelite and brass lamp collections. The shades are available as spare parts, allowing you to extend the life of your lamp if a globe needs replacement.

All light fittings are classified according to their IP value. These IP values (International Protection or Ingress Protection) indicate the degree of protection of the light fitting against dust and moisture. The IP value consists of two digits: the first digit indicates the level of protection against dust; the second, the level of protection against moisture. The higher the IP value, the higher the protection. Check this diagram to see the different existing IP values.
 

What does the IP20 value mean on this light fitting?

IP20 means that the light fitting:
2: is protected against the intrusion of solid particles with a dimension greater than 12.5 millimetres.
0: has no protection against water penetration.

This light fitting can be installed indoors, but not in wet areas.
It is not recommended to install this light fitting outdoors.

A device with an IP20 value is not protected against dust or moisture. A light fitting marked IP20 may have holes to prevent overheating. However, the lamp is protected against contact with objects larger than 12.5 mm, such as a hand or finger.
This model is suitable for indoor use, but not outdoors.

The light bulb is not included when you buy this light. You will find here the whole selection of LED, incandescent, stick and halogen light bulbs. Take into account that each light needs a specific type of light bulb. You will find the kind of light bulb that it requires under the "Technical Description" tab.

E27 stands for the type of the fitting of a lamp. E27 stands for a 27 mm diameter thread. "E" stands for Edison thread. So you always have to put an E27 light bulb in a fixture with an E27 fitting. E27 is the standard in England and most European countries.
The early light bulbs (remember them?) had a similar screw thread.
Be careful though, because there are also countries where E26 bulbs are the norm (for example in the United States).

Do not use electrical screwdrivers when installing ceramic or porcelain items. We recommend to first drill a hole in the wall, fit the right plugs inside and use a manual screwdriver to fix the screws in place. Be especially careful during the final tightening of the screws.
