Erasmus, powder-coated steel garden table

The tabletop and seats are made from perforated steel and finished with a durable powder coating. This high-quality finish protects the steel against rust, wear and the elements, ensuring long-lasting performance even with intensive outdoor use.

The centre of the tabletop features a parasol hole, making it easy to add shade on sunny days.

Erasmus is available in two sizes and four colours: black, blue, green and red.

• 183 cm: seats 6 people on the benches (with room for 2 additional people at the ends if required).
• 244 cm: seats 8 people on the benches (with room for 2 additional people at the ends if required).

How to choose the ideal table size?

The first question to ask yourself is: how many people would you like to be able to seat around your table?

Below you will find some general guidelines for a standard table.

How many people can sit at a rectangular table?

Allow approximately 60 to 70 cm (24-28 in) of space per person. Also leave around 10 cm (4 in) between each person. If the table legs are positioned at the corners of the table, the table will need to be slightly longer to ensure that all chairs can be placed neatly side by side.

• 2 people → a 75 cm x 75 cm (30 x 30 in) table
• 4 people → a table length of 120 cm (47 in)
• 4 to 6 people → a table length of 140 cm  (55 in)
• 6 to 8 people → a table length of 220 cm  (87 in)
• 8 to 10 people → a table length of 280 cm  (110 in)

• 12 to 14 people → a table length of 400 cm (157 in)

How much space should there be between a standard table and a wall?

A table should always be placed at least 70 to 80 cm (28 x 31 in) away from a wall so that you can sit comfortably. If you also want to be able to walk between the table and the wall, allow at least 1.20 m (4 ft) of space.

What are the standard height and width of a dining table?

Dining tables are generally between 90 and 100 cm (35-39 in) wide and approximately 76 cm (30 in) high.
