The main difference between linen and cotton lies in their raw material, durability and feel. Linen is made from the flax plant. It is stronger than cotton, feels cooler to the touch and wrinkles less easily. Cotton, on the other hand, comes from the cotton plant. It is softer and smoother, but also more prone to wrinkling.
In addition, the production process of linen is more sustainable. This is because growing flax requires significantly less water and no pesticides to thrive.
