A ceiling rose hides the electrical connection. A rose is used to hide the place where the electrical wires, that come out of the wall or ceiling, are attached to the lighting fixture. Ceiling roses are not only functional, but also decorative. As standard, a ceiling rose has one opening for one electrical wire, but nowadays, there are also ceiling roses with multiple holes to allow, for example, several pendant lamps to come from one lighting point. No screws are supplied, as the type of screw depends on the material of the wall or ceiling (concrete, brick, plasterboard, wood).
You need a different type of screws depending on each material.

Do not use electrical screwdrivers when installing ceramic or porcelain items. We recommend to first drill a hole in the wall, fit the right plugs inside and use a manual screwdriver to fix the screws in place. Be especially careful during the final tightening of the screws.

3. Select a socket or shade

You can assemble the components yourself or, if you are not handy, have our team do the assembly for you. In this case, please add our assembly product to your order. An assembly means a socket is connected to the cable. If you have several sockets to assemble, please choose the equivalent number of "assembly products".
