Porcelain ceiling rose - early 20th century style
This ceiling canopy dates from the early 20th century and was found during the renovation of our country house in the Belgian Ardennes. We had it faithfully reproduced to breathe new life into it.
This model is part of the Pure Porcelain collection, a zangra collection of high-quality decorative items with timeless lines.
Suitable for one braided textile cable (3x0.75 mm²) or two twisted textile cables (2x0.75 mm²).
This model is available in white porcelain.
A cord grip is supplied.

What is a ceiling rose?

A ceiling rose hides the electrical connection. A rose is used to hide the place where the electrical wires, that come out of the wall or ceiling, are attached to the lighting fixture. Ceiling roses are not only functional, but also decorative. As standard, a ceiling rose has one opening for one electrical wire, but nowadays, there are also ceiling roses with multiple holes to allow, for example, several pendant lamps to come from one lighting point. The story behind zangra's porcelain

Soon after being established in 2009, zangra started to successfully cooperate with different porcelain factories all over the world – a cooperation that continues to this day. In recent years, zangra has spent a lot of time in world’s most famous porcelain cities. From Limoges in France to Jingdezhen in China, zangra was able to work at legendary porcelain factories. So in cooperation with the staff zangra created new models and rediscovered old forgotten molds. A number of old molds were put back in production making new pieces. zangra’s porcelain is still produced by hand, piece by piece. This makes each piece unique. zangra's work proved successful with their products being sold all over the world.

Are the screws included?
No screws are supplied, as the type of screw depends on the material of the wall or ceiling (concrete, brick, plasterboard, wood).
You need a different type of screws depending on each material.

Do not use an electrical screwdriver
Do not use electrical screwdrivers when installing ceramic or porcelain items. We recommend to first drill a hole in the wall, fit the right plugs inside and use a manual screwdriver to fix the screws in place. Be especially careful during the final tightening of the screws.
