Although gall soap is not as well known as black soap, white vinegar or sodium bicarbonate, it's an ecological cleaning classic.
Beef gall is a product of bile. It contains acids with the property of dispersing fats and lipoidal substances that dissolve dyes. Thanks to these compounds, beef gall is considered a very effective stain remover.
Simply moisten the gall soap and rub it on the stain. Then leave it on for about ten minutes and machine wash. Consider doing a test on coloured or delicate linens to check that the fabric you want to remove the stain from can tolerate the gall soap.
